The moonlight tobacco company was established by R.J.Reynolds to test market several "micro-brands", a cigarette version of the micro brewery idea. In 1997 advertisments appeared all over New York and in a few other large metropolises. The original roll-out was even shown on television, a news event that somehow caused the studio executives to forget that there is a ban on cigarette advertising. From time to time they would eliminate one brand or introduce another as a part of their continuing marketing efforts.(Politix appeared to be an early casualty...)

These zippos represent the original mix less a brand named "Metropolis"... They were all sold by R.J.Reynolds in their company store.
