Zippos were made available to the competitors in the Camel Trophy competition, a gruelling crosscountry course that is run using Land Rovers. It is held annually over some of the the most inhospitable and challenging terrain in the world. One year it would be held in the Amazon Rain forests and the next over the Siberian steppes. It was a course in which only the fittest would survive!
